In a formal ceremony, Mr. Rabih Sabra, Director General of the Chamber of Commerce of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, signed today 8 strategic Memoranda of Cooperation with key NGOs, associations and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) schools active in youth training and women empowerment. Emphasizing the significance of these agreements, Mr. Sabra articulated how vital they are in broadening the reach of the INTERNISA project, further enhancing its impact on women's empowerment in the job market.
This initiative is part of the EU-funded INTERNISA project that focuses on digital skills empowerment and facilitating women upscaling in the job market. The main objective of these agreements is to promote and sustain the services initiated by the chamber under the INTERNISA project, with a specific focus on INTERNISA job platform and the INTERNISA Digital Training Center. The job platform aims to create a bridge between women job seekers and employers .The Women Digital Center, on the other hand, is committed to equipping women with the necessary soft and digital skills to stay relevant and competitive in a rapidly evolving digital world.
The signed MoC agreements represent a significant milestone and a successful conclusion to the INTERNISA project. They underline the commitment of all involved parties to continue to deliver these essential services.
The INTERNISA project has proven successful and innovative in its approach, creating outputs and services tailored to the specific needs of the territories within the European Neighbourhood Instrument Cross-Border Cooperation Mediterranean (ENI CBC MED).
