The EU funded project Yep Med resumed today its training programs activities in Beirut by launching edition 2 of THE Vocational & Occupational training program in port logistics (VT1-OT1). This training attracted 70 Lebanese young men and women who showed interest and engagement in shaping their blue skills in port logistics arena and ensure a better employability and job opportunities in this sector.
Organised by Beirut Chamber, this YEP MED VT1 program will introduce the participants over 5 days o the Lebanese maritime sector and port of Beirut, custom services, supply chain management, international regulations, freight forward, shipping lines and multimodal Chain characteristics . Participants will get hands on each elaborated module and explore with the expert trainers many related practical cases (Agenda).
The next YEP MED training courses VT2-VT3 in Beirut will take place 21 February till 7 Mar 2022. Participants who attend the full training program will be awarded the YEP MED certificate of completion signed by the Beirut Chamber.

YEP MED project “Youth Employment in the Ports of the Mediterranean" (2020-2023), is co-financed by the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI) of the European Union and led by the Escola Europea – Intermodal Transport (Spain), aims to develop port-logistics training and vocational (TVET) resources adapted to sector needs to strengthen youth employability for a Duration 30 months.
