TECHLOG Unveils Innovative Living Labs with Cutting-Edge Simulation at Barcelona SIL - International Logistics Conference
The Barcelona SIL - International Logistics Conference (Salon Internacional de Logística) - is set to commence as the summer months begin, providing an unparalleled platform for industry professionals. From June 7th to 9th, the 25th edition of this esteemed international event will be held, offering TECHLOG a unique opportunity to showcase the groundbreaking Living Labs it has supported over the past year.
Recognized as the largest international gathering of the logistics industry, this year's Barcelona SIL will be even more remarkable as it hosts four major international congresses concurrently, uniting the most prominent logistics experts. The event will feature the 39th ALACAT Congress, the 18th European Conference & European Research Seminar of CSCMP, the 19th MedaLogistics Week, and the 26th edition of EUROLOG.
Throughout the three-day SIL event, the TECHLOG project will be actively promoting the benefits of simulation-based training at its dedicated stand. As part of this initiative, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a thrilling truck driving competition designed to test their skills in areas such as focus, accident prevention, environmental efficiency, and sustainability. The winner of the competition will be announced on June 8th. Additionally, the TECHLOG stand will showcase all other activities undertaken by the project. The 19th MedaLogistics Summit, taking place during the conference, will serve as a platform for project partners to emphasize the positive impact of technological transfer and innovation in simulation for companies. Distinguished representatives from the Escola Europea – Intermodal Transport, ASCAME, Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, CEEBA, the University of Cagliari UNICA CIREM, and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut & Mount Lebanon will contribute to the conference discussions.

TECHLOG (Technological Transfer for Logistics Innovation in the Mediterranean area) is an EU co-financed project with a duration of 30 months and a total budget of €3.4 million, of which €3.1 million (90%) is funded by the European Union.
