The Director General Mr. Rabih Sabra, attended Lebanon’s case webinar ‘From recovery to sustainable development’ organized on January 27^th by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and the League of Arab States (LAS), in partnership with Lebanon’s National Committee of sustainable Development at the Council of Ministers, where Mr. Sabra stands as the representative of the private sector.

Throughout his presentation on the Resilience of the Lebanese Private Sector facing Covid-19 and its Role in Sustainable Development, Mr. Sabra introduced the Beirut chamber, the effects of the Lebanese crisis and Covid-19 on businesses, and touched on the chamber interventions in response to the pandemic and its activities with respect to sustainable development.
