شقير يتفق مع سفير كوريا الجنوبية

على عدد من الخطوات لتنمية العلاقات الاقتصادية الثنائية

استقبل رئيس الهيئات الاقتصادية اللبنانية الوزير السابق محمد شقير اليوم في مقر غرفة بيروت وجبل لبنان، سفير كوريا الجنوبية إيل بارك، بحضور نائب رئيس غرفة بيروت وجبل لبنان نبيل فهد، وتم البحث في سبل تنمية التعاون الإقتصادي الثنائي في شتى المجالات.

بداية، رحب شقير بالسفير بارك مشيداً بعلاقات الصداقة التي تربط لبنان بدولة كوريا الجنوبية، ومؤكداً على ضرورة تنمية العلاقات الإقتصادية الثنائية وتعزيز التعاون بين القطاع الخاص في البلدين.

وأشار شقير الى وجود الكثير من الفرص الإقتصادية التي يمكن العمل عليها، لا سيما زيادة تصدير المنتجات اللبنانية التي تتمتع بمواصفات وجودة عالية الى الأسواق الكورية، لافتاً في الوقت نفسه الى وجود عدد كبير من السلع الكورية في السوق اللبنانية والتي تلاقي رواجاً كبيراً لدى اللبنانيين.

كما دعا شقير الشركات الكورية للإستثمار في لبنان، عارضاً الكثير من المجالات المجدية، مشيراً في الوقت نفسه الى إهتمام الشركات اللبنانية بنقل التكنولوجيا الكورية الجنوبية والاستفادة منها في الكثير من المجالات ومنها الصناعة والطاقة وتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات وغيرها.

&nbsp;كما دعا الشركات الكورية الكبيرة الراغبة في التوسع في أسواق المنطقة وأفريقيا الى إنشاء مراكز إقليمية لها في لبنان وإقامة شراكات عمل مع الشركات اللبنانية والاستفادة من تواجدها في هذه الاسواق.

من جهته، شكر السفير بارك شقير على المحادثات والأفكار التي طرحها والتي يمكن أن تشكل ركيزة لتطوير التعاون الإقتصادي الثنائي، مؤكداً رغبة بلاده بتقوية العلاقات الإقتصادية مع لبنان.

كما أكد وجود الكثير من فرص التعاون المشترك بين البلدين والتي يمكن العمل عليها في المستقبل.

ولفت السفير الكوري على ضرورة العمل في المرحلة المقبلة على تسويق المنتجات اللبنانية في السوق الكورية لا سيما زيت الزيتون والنبيذ والعسل، خصوصاً ان النبيذ بات يلاقي رواجاً كبيراً في السوق الكورية.

مشروع &ldquo;2Circular&rdquo; هو ممّول من الاتحاد الأوروبي والمنفذ من قبل منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية (UNIDO) بالشراكة مع وزارات الصناعة والاقتصاد والتجارة والبيئة والمالية وبالتعاون مع جمعية الصناعيين اللبنانيين واتحاد غرف التجارة والصناعة والزراعة و يهدف الى خفض التكلفة الإنتاجية وتعزيز استدامة المؤسسات الصناعية، وجعلها أكثر فعّالية وصديقة للبيئة.

يقدم المشروع عدداً من المنح العينية بقيمة اجمالية تقدر بحوالي ٢٨٠٠٠٠ يورو لدعم المؤسسات الصناعية.

Beirut, Lebanon, June 26, 2023 &mdash; The YEP MED event successfully took place today in Beirut in hybrid mode at the Hotel Gefinor Rotana, Hamra. The event, convened by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry &amp; Agriculture of Beirut &amp; Mount Lebanon (CCIA-BML), attracted prominent representatives of public sector, academic partners, port and logistics sectors, trainers and graduates.

The event was kicked off with a simultaneous online meeting that connected Beirut attendees with ESCOLA Europa-Intermodal, lead Beneficiary of YEP MED and various YEP MED partners from Spain, Italy, Egypt, Jordan and Tunisia. Opening keyword was delivered online by Eduard Rhodes, the Director of Escola Europa-Intermodal Transport Spain; followed by Duaa Qurie representative from ENI CBC MED; and Rabih Sabra, Director General of CCIA-BML and partners speeches. The meeting was a perfect blend of insightful conversations and promising collaborations.

The event resumes locally through projecting a special YEP MED video that showcased to attendees a glimpse into the program&#39;s journey, particularly the Talent Program that took place between Civitavecchia and Barcelona over a week in May 2023. The milestones of YEP MED were presented by Hana Nehme, Head of Projects at CCIA-BML, shedding light on the program&#39;s significant achievements and continuous growth. Testimonials from YEP MED graduates and trainers created an emotive atmosphere as they shared their experiences, successes, and lessons. These narratives illuminated the transformational impact of the YEP MED initiative on individual and institutional levels.

Adding to the momentum, a video presentation of the recent YEP MED Job Fair in Beirut provided insights into the diverse opportunities available for program graduates, reinforcing the initiative&#39;s commitment to facilitating career progression for its participants.

One of the day&#39;s major highlights was the graduation ceremony of the YEP MED Training Program, Celebrating the dedication of the students. The graduation was not only a celebration of their accomplishments but also an affirmation of YEP MED&#39;s ongoing commitment to fostering the next generation of port logistics industry professionals. The event concluded with a lunch at the honor of stakeholders, trainers and students.

Overall, the YEP MED event was a resounding success, encapsulating the spirit of learning, achievement, and collaboration that defines YEP MED&#39;s mission.

مشروع كونكت لتسهيل انخراط طلاب الجامعات في سوق العمل

Beirut, June 22, 2023- The Chamber of Beirut and Mount Lebanon organized today the YEP MED JOB Fair on June 22, 2023 in Beirut, serving as a platform to bridge the gap between talented graduates and leading companies in the field of port logistics and international trade. With the participation of 20 esteemed industry players and 62 Young students, the job fair showcased numerous opportunities for YEP MED graduates to pursue rewarding careers in their chosen fields.

The YEP MED JOB Fair proved to be an exceptional networking opportunity, bringing together dynamic companies and aspiring talents under one roof. A diverse range of renowned port logistics and international trade companies eagerly participated in the event, demonstrating their commitment to nurturing local talent and promoting economic growth in the region.

During the job fair, YEP MED graduates had the privilege of applying directly for available job vacancies, enabling them to showcase their skills and qualifications to potential employers. The participating companies warmly welcomed the graduates and engaged in productive discussions about future career prospects, leading to numerous promising opportunities.

To ensure a seamless experience for both graduates and employers, YEP MED Experts diligently organized interviews and facilitated access to the job market throughout the event.

The YEP MED JOB Fair not only provided a platform for YEP MED trainees to explore employment possibilities, but it also promoted industry collaboration and knowledge sharing. The event served as a testament to the commitment of the Chamber of Beirut and Mount Lebanon to foster a vibrant and prosperous business environment.

Beirut Chamber will extend this initiative to various Lebanese districts in collaboration with regional Chambers, to ensure a comprehensive coverage across all regions of Lebanon. Additionally, a strategic promotional campaign will be launched to facilitate the placement of talented young Lebanese YEP MED graduates within relevant companies.

الأوضاع الإقتصادية في الشمال والمشاركة في إكسبو قطر

استقبل رئيس الهيئات الإقتصادية الوزير السابق محمد شقير رئيس جمعية تجار لبنان الشمالي أسعد الحريري في مقر غرفة بيروت وجبل لبنان، وبحث معه الأوضاع العامة في البلاد وإنعكاس الفراغ الرئاسي والشلل الحكومي على الأوضاع الإقتصادية والإجتماعية في لبنان بشكل عام وفي الشمال بشكل خاص.

كما تناول البحث نتائج المشاركة في مؤتمر رجال الأعمال العرب والصينيين الذي انعقد في 11 و12 حزيران الجاري في الرياض، والإمكانيات المتاحة أمام لبنان للإستفادة من التطور الحاصل على مستوى التعاون العربي الصيني.

وكذلك تم البحث في موضوع مشاركة لبنان في إكسبو قطر الذي سيفتتح أبوابه في الأول من تشرين الأول المقبل ويستمر حتى نهاية آذار 2024.

وفي هذا الإطار، أكد شقير للحريري حرصه على العمل لتوفير أفضل مشاركة للمنتجين الزراعيين وللصناعات الغذائية في الشمال في اكسبو قطر، &quot;هذا المعرض الرائد الذي نعول عليه كثيراً لتسويق منتجاتنا الزراعية وصناعاتنا الغذائية&quot;.

شقير يستقبل رئيس جمعية تجار لبنان الشمالي أسعد الحريري

In a formal ceremony, Mr. Rabih Sabra, Director General of the Chamber of Commerce of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, signed today 8 strategic Memoranda of Cooperation with key NGOs, associations and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) schools active in youth training and women empowerment. Emphasizing the significance of these agreements, Mr. Sabra articulated how vital they are in broadening the reach of the INTERNISA project, further enhancing its impact on women&#39;s empowerment in the job market.

This initiative is part of the EU-funded INTERNISA project that focuses on digital skills empowerment and facilitating women upscaling in the job market. The main objective of these agreements is to promote and sustain the services initiated by the chamber under the INTERNISA project, with a specific focus on INTERNISA job platform and the INTERNISA Digital Training Center. The job platform aims to create a bridge between women job seekers and employers .The Women Digital Center, on the other hand, is committed to equipping women with the necessary soft and digital skills to stay relevant and competitive in a rapidly evolving digital world.

The signed MoC agreements represent a significant milestone and a successful conclusion to the INTERNISA project. They underline the commitment of all involved parties to continue to deliver these essential services.

The INTERNISA project has proven successful and innovative in its approach, creating outputs and services tailored to the specific needs of the territories within the European Neighbourhood Instrument Cross-Border Cooperation Mediterranean (ENI CBC MED).

الهيئات الإقتصادية تبحث مع وفد من الشركات الإيطالية 

تعزيز التعاون مع القطاع الخاص اللبناني وفرص الإستثمار

عقدت الهيئات الإقتصادية اللبنانية برئاسة الوزير السابق محمد شقير إجتماعاً مع وفد من الشركات الإيطالية من تنظيم وزارة الخارجية الإيطالية، شارك فيه مدير المكتب التجاري في السفارة الإيطالية في لبنان كلاوديو باسكوالوتشي، وحضره عدداً من أعضاء الهيئات الإقتصادية ورجال الأعمال، جرى خلاله الإطلاع على آفاق النشاط الإقتصادي في لبنان، كما جرى البحث في سبل تعزيز التعاون بين الشركات اللبنانية والإيطالية وإمكانية العمل المشترك في لبنان وفي الدول التي ينشط فيها القطاع الخاص اللبناني ومنها أفريقيا.

بدايةً رحب شقير بالوفد الإيطالي، وأشاد بالعلاقات اللبنانية الإيطالية، التي تختزن الكثير من الأعمال والنجاحات والشراكة القوية في الكثير من المجالات، مشيراً الى ان ايطاليا كانت على مدى سنوات في مقدمة الشركاء التجاريين للبنان، كما ان الشركات الإيطاليا لعبت دوراً بارزاً في عملية إعادة إعمار لبنان في تسعينيات القرن الماضي، وقد استمرت هذه العلاقة في خطى ثابتة، وهي اليوم تلقى دفعاً قوياً مع وجود شركة إيني الإيطاليا كشريك اساسي في الكونسورتيوم الذي فاز في عمليات إستكشاف وإستخراج النفط والغاز في لبنان&quot;.

وقال شقير &quot;صحيح أن لبنان يمر في أوضاع صعبة، لكننا متفائلون بتطور الأوضاع إيجاباً في المدى المنظور، إستناداً الى عوامل أساسية أبرزها التفاهمات الحاصلة في المنطقة جراء الإتفاق السعودي الإيراني والسعودي السوري وعودة سوريا الى الجامعة العربية، وكذلك ترسيم الحدود البحرية اللبنانية مع إسرائيل، ومن المنتظر أن تبدأ شركة توتال عمليات الإستكشاف في البحر اللبناني في الجنوب في أيلول المقبل&quot;.

وشدد شقير على ضرورة تفعيل عمليات التواصل والتعاوان بين القطاع الخاص اللبناني والإيطالي اللذين تربطهما تاريخ طويل من علاقة التعاون والشراكة الناجحة، تحضيراً للمرحلة المقبلة، خصوصاً أن لبنان لديه الكثير من الفرص الواعدة، لا سيما في للبنى التحتية ، وكذلك في مجال الطاقة على إختلافها. كما لا بد من إرساء تعاون بَنّاء بين الشركات اللبنانية والإيطاليا تحضيراً لعملية إعادة إعمار سوريا والعراق.

وفي ختام كلمته دعا شقير الى مزيد من التفاعل وتنظيم اللقاءات بين الشركات اللبنانية والإيطالية للبحث في سبل ترسيخ التعاون المشترك وتحديد الفرص المتاحة.

باسكوالوتشي

من جهته اشاد باسكوالوتشي بالعلاقات الإيطالية اللبنانية، مؤكداً ان لبنان يشكل مركزاً مهماً للأعمال والتجارة الإيطالية.

وأوضح باسكوالوتشي ان الوفد الإيطالي مؤلف من شركات تعنى بقطاع الطاقة والبنية التحتية والبناء، مشيراً الى أن إيطاليا مهتمة ببناء تحالفات بين الشركات الإيطالية واللبنانية خصوصاً في أفريقيا حيث تولي الحكومة الإيطالية إهتماماً خاصاً بالإستثمار في أفريقيا، وهي تخصص دعماً لهذه الإستثمارات.

ولفت باسكوالوتشي الى أنه تم ملاحظة ومن خلال عمليات التبادل التجاري بين ايطاليا ولبنان، حصول تَحَوّل لجهة تطور قدرات الصناعة اللبنانية وتنامي الإعتماد على المنتجات اللبنانية.

تبادل المعلومات

وفي نهاية الإجتماع تم الإتفاق على أن يُعِدّ الجانب اللبناني ورقة عن الفرص الإستثمارية المتاحة وقدرات الشركات اللبنانية لتسليمها الى الجانب الإيطالي، على أن يقوم الأخير بإعداد ورقة عن القطاعات والدول التي تهتم فيها الشركات الإيطالية لتسليمها الى الجانب اللبناني.

وبعد ذلك تم تنظيم لقاءات عمل ثنائية بين الشركات الإيطالية ورجال أعمال لبنانيين تم خلالها البحث في إمكانية التعاون والفرص المتاحة في هذا الإطار.
