بيروت في 3 تشين الثاني 2021 شقير يبحث مع سفير كازاخستان سبل تنمية وتطوير العلاقات الاقتصادية الثنائية &nbsp; استقبل رئيس الهيئات الإقتصادية الوزير السابق محمد شقير اليوم في مقر غرفة بيروت وجبل لبنان سفير كازاخستان يرجان كاليكينوف، وتم البحث في سبل تنمية وتطوير العلاقات الاقتصادية الثنائية لا سيما بين القطاع الخاص في البلدين. بداية رحب شقير بالسفير الكازاخستاني، وأشار الى إن القطاع الخاص اللبناني كان على الدوام السباق في بناء وتقوية العلاقات الإقتصادية مع مختلف الدول ومن بينها كازاخستان، و&quot;هذا واضح من خلال تواجد رجال الأعمال اللبنانيين للعمل والإستثمار في هذا البلد الصديق&quot;. وإذ أكد شقير إهتمام القطاع الخاص بتقوية علاقات التعاون والشراكة مع نظيره الكازاخستاني للمساهمة في برامج التنمية الإقتصادية التي تنفذها كازاخستان، شدد في الوقت نفسه، على إن التبادل التجاري يبقى ركيزة مهمة في التعاون الاقتصادي الثنائي، داعياً الى السعي المشترك لتسهيل إنسايب المنتجات الصناعية اللبنانية التي تتمتع بجودة عالية ومواصفات عالمية الى الاسواق الكازاخستانية. كما أكد شقير على ضرورة تواصل القطاع الخاص في البلدين للعمل على زيادة التعاون والشراكة في بينهم. من جهته، نوه السفير كاليكينوف بالأفكار التي طرحها شقير لتنمية التعاون الاقتصادي الثنائي. وإذ أشاد السفير الكازاخستاني بدينامية والخبرات الكبيرة التي يتمتع بها القطاع الخاص اللبناني، أكد إهتمام الجانب الكازاخستاني بالتعاون معه. ولفت الى انه سينقل مختلف الافكار التي طرحت خلال الإجتماع لتقوية التعاون الإقتصادي الى المعنيين في بلاده للعمل عليها في المستقبل القريب.&nbsp; وفي نهاية اللقاء، سلم شقير السفير كاليكينوف كتاب غرفة بيروت وجبل لبنان. &nbsp; &nbsp;

بيروت في 22 تشرين الأول 2021 استقبل رئيس الهيئات الاقتصادية الوزير السابق محمد شقير اليوم في مقر غرفة بيروت وجبل لبنان سفير الارجنتين في لبنان موريسيو آليس وبحث معه سبل تنمية العلاقات الاقتصادية وتعزيز التعاون بين القطاع الخاص في البلدين. بداية رحب شقير بسفير الارجنتين، وأكد إهتمام القطاع الخاص اللبناني بتعزيز التعاون مع نظير الارجنتيني، لافتاً الى وجود الكثير من الفرص و&quot;من الضروري تقوية هذا التعاون لتحقيق الاستفادة المشتركة للبلدين وشعبيهما&quot;. &nbsp; وأعتبر شقير ان وجود جالية لبنانية كبيرة وفاعلة في الارجنتين، من شأنه يعطي زخماً قوياً لهذا المسار، ويساعد في تحقيق نقلة نوعية في علاقاتنا الاقتصادية الثنائية التي لا تزال متواضعة على الرغم من وجود الكثير من الفرص الواعدة، دعيا الشركات الارجنتينية لاعتماد لبنان مركزاً لها للتوسع باتجاه دول المنطقة والخليج وافريقيا. كما دعا الى تسهيل إدخال المنتجات اللبنانية التي تتمتع بمواصفات عالية الى الأسواق الارجنتينية. من جهته، أثنى سفير الارجنتين على أفكار واقتراحات شقير لتنمية العلاقات مع بلاده، لافتاً الى اهتمام بلاده في زيادة التعاون بين القطاع الخاص في البلدين. وابدى سفير الارجنتين استعداده للقيام بكل ما يلزم بالتنسيق مع السلطات المعنية في بلاده لإتخاذ الخطوات المناسبة للتقدم على هذا المسار. &nbsp;

بيان - لقاء سفير الارجنتين

بيروت في 6 تموز 2021 عقد اليوم في مقر غرفة بيروت وجبل لبنان إجتماع عمل بين الهيئات الاقتصادية برئاسة الوزير السابق محمد شقير ووفد من الإتحاد العام للغرف التجارية المصرية برئاسة نائب رئيس الإتحاد محمد المصري بمشاركة أمين عام أتحاد الغرف العربية خالد حنفي، وتم خلال اللقاء طرح الكثير من الأفكار التي من شأنها تطوير العلاقات الاقتصادية اللبنانية &ndash; المصرية، كما تم البحث في سبل إزالة كل المعوقات التي تحد من تنمية هذه العلاقات بين البلدين الشقيقين. شقير بداية رحب شقير بمحمد المصري وبالوفد المرافق، منوهاً بعمق العلاقات الأخوية بين البلدين الشقيقين والدور الهام الذي تقوم به مصر في الوقت الراهن لمساعدة لبنان على تخطي أزماته. وأكد شقير على أهمية مسيرة التعاون بين القطاع الخاص في البلدين، مشدداً على ضرورة حصول نقلة نوعية على هذا المستوى من خلال التركيز على الفرص المتاحة في لبنان ومصر وخارجهما. ولفت شقير الى ضرورة تسهيل إنسياب دخول الصناعة اللبنانية التي تتمتع بأعلى المواصفات العالمية الى الأسواق اللبنانية، مشيراً الى ان هذا القطاع شهد تطورات كبيرة في السنة والنصف الماضية لجهة تطوير النوعية والتوسع لتلبية الطلب في السوق المحلية وفي الخارج، وعلى هذا الأساس هناك إمكانيات كبيرة لحصول شراكات بين صناعات لبنانية وأخرى مصرية في إطار من الاستراتيجية المشتركة التي يمكن العمل عليها للمستقبل. وإذ طلب شقير من الضيف المصري وضع المجتمعين في صورة اللقاء الرئاسي الثلاثي المصري والاردني والعراقي الذي عقد مؤخراً في العراق، لأهميتة الاستراتيجية لا سيما الاقتصادية في المنطقة، لفت الى ان لبنان لديه موقع إقتصادي هام في المنطقة لا سيما من خلال قطاعه الخاص المتواجد بقوة في الدول الثلاثة كما انه يتمتع بسمعة طيبة ودور مميز في العراق، وهذا يؤهله للعب دور ايجابي في هذه المجموعة. وشدد شقير على ضرورة &quot;خروج اجتماع اليوم بورقة عمل مشتركة يعمل على مراجعتها ومتابعة تنفيذها&quot;. المصري من جهته، شكر المصري شقير والهيئات الاقتصادية على هذا الاجتماع الهام في مضمونه وتوقيته، مؤكداً ان ما تقوم به مصر &quot;الشقيقة الكبرى&quot; تجاه لبنان هو واجب عليها، إنطلاقاً من عمق العلاقات الأخوية بين البلدين الشقيقين. وإذ أشار المصري الى الأهمية الاستراتيجية للتعاون بين مصر والاردن والعراق، أكد ضرورة توسع هذا الأمر ليطال دول أخرى لا سيما لبنان، &quot;ليكون لدينا سوق مشتركة على غرار سوق الدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي&quot;. وأبدى المصري استعداد إتحاد الغرف المصرية التعاون الى أقصى الحدود لمراجعة كل المعوقات التي تحد من تنمية العلاقات الاقتصادية المشتركة ووضع أطر عملية لحلها، وكذلك العمل سوياً على الكثير من الأعمال المجدية، مشدداً على ضرورة الاستفادة من خبرات القطاع الخاص في البلدين الى أقصى حدود في مختلف المجالات. حوار بعد ذلك دار حوار، تناول مختلف المواضيع لا سيما المعوقات والمشاريع المجدية في الصناعة والسياحة والعلامات التجارية والتسويق والمشاريع الاستثمارية المختلفة. وتم الاتفاق على وضع ورقة مشتركة حول كل المواضيع الأساسية التي تم طرحها خلال الاجتماع للعمل على مناقشتها ومتابعتها وصولاً الى ايجاد الحلول المناسبة في ما خص المعوقات، وقيام تعاون مشترك في المشاريع المجدية.

إجتماع بين الهيئات ووفد من اتحاد الغرف المصرية

<img alt="" src="https://ccib.org.lb/uploads/Untitled_25.jpg" style="width: 604px; height: 240px;" /> EU Funded project INTERNISA Two focus groups to identify the digital skills needs &nbsp;of young Women and SMEs Managers in Lebanon Within the objective to identify digital skills gap of women across key economic sectors, the Chamber of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, a key partner in the EU funded project INTERNISA, conducted two online Focus Groups on May 3 &amp; May 11, 2021 via zoom platform. The first focus group brought together NEETs young women belonging to diverse Lebanese cultures and regions who expressed their views and needs for trainings to be able to re-integrate the enterprises market. On the other hand, the second focus group gathered key HR and Managers representing agri-food, tourism, textile, and financial sectors who pointed out the four sectors evolving needs for women soft and digital skills. The faced challenges and insights of both focus groups along with the inputs to be collected by the INTERNISA partner countries will be used to put in place best practices and code of conduct guides, Joint strategy and action plan. This data besides the findings of the women and mangers online surveys will help also in designing the curricula and trainings targeting women, SMEs and public sector to enhance the employment of digitally skilled women in ENI CBC MED territories. &nbsp; &nbsp;

Partnership IFC and Chamber of Beirut &amp; Mount Lebanon Closing of Peer Learning Platform Lebanon and Launch of Leaders4Equality &nbsp; Under the Mashreq Gender Facility, the IFC celebrated in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, the first successful year of women&rsquo;s employment peer learning platform webinars. Within the online event, the organizers recapped on the gains of the past year and announced the two winners companies Wakilni and Beesline in the competition of best gender diversity project. The event represented as well an occasion to announce the MGF phase 2 activity of the program with Leaders4Equality Cohort. &nbsp; Dr. Nabil Fahd vice chairman of Chamber of Beirut and Mount Lebanon appreciated in his welcome note the close cooperation with IFC on this initiative, women&rsquo;s employment peer- learning platform. &nbsp;He pointed out that the Mashreq Gender Facility came up at a critical time for the Lebanese businesses, particularly those under women&rsquo;s leadership; he shed lights also on the extreme engagement of Chamber in gender parity, diversity and inclusion. Dr. Fahd, confirmed that women play a leading role within the Chamber&rsquo;s board of directors and its internal labor force. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;

Closing of Peer Learning Platform and Launch of Leaders4Equality

The first edition of the YEP MED graduation ceremony of Lebanese trainees took place at Beirut chamber of commerce on July 7th.&nbsp; 33 graduated students obtained the YEP MED Port Logistics Training certificate delivered by Beirut Chamber and ESCOLA Barcelona. On that occasion, The Chamber calls on maritime and logistics companies to recruit the trained graduates for either internships or jobs opportunities and thus benefiting from the project subgrant scheme that would support both the companies and the students. In her welcome note, the executive manager of the YEP MED project, Hana Nehme revealed that the first edition of YEP MED port logistics training program attracted a large number of students&rsquo; applications from all the Lebanese regions, exceeding thus the Chamber expectations. &ldquo;YEP MED training programs will continue to enroll young students for the upcoming sessions during the life time of the project up till 2023 in order to upscale technical and digital blue skills of Lebanese young men and women in port logistics sector&rdquo;. YEP MED project is financed by the European Union and involves key ports and maritime training institutes from 7 Mediterranean countries including Lebanon which is represented by the Chamber of Beirut and Mount-Lebanon. &ldquo;This diploma is not the last stage of the trainee&rsquo;s journey. The Chamber will shortly launch the apprenticeship program in collaboration with the Lebanese logistics companies to facilitate access of Lebanese young graduates to either internship programs or job opportunities&rdquo;, she added. &ldquo;The importance of this diploma relies on being delivered by the largest business organization in Lebanon, namely the Beirut Chamber of commerce, and by ESCOLA, the training institute of the Port of Barcelona, one of the most important and dynamic ports on the Mediterranean shore&rdquo;. Support program to the private sector and Lebanese Youth In his keynote, the Director General of the Chamber, Rabih Sabra, congratulate the graduates. &ldquo;We are all gathered today to celebrate your graduation ceremony. This is a very important opportunity for the Chamber of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, which for a long time has been implementing various development projects to support the private sector in order to increase the jobs opportunities for young people. The YEP MED program is one of those projects that we are triggering to give you the opportunity to participate in a unique pioneer training program in Lebanon covering a very important and promising business arena, namely the port logistics and maritime sector. Indeed, port and maritime logistics educational programs are not formally covered so far by academic and TVET diplomas in Lebanon&rdquo;, regretted Rabih Sabra. He added: &ldquo;However, this logistics field is one of the key gears of the maritime sector in Mediterranean countries. &nbsp;As such, Lebanon and the Port of Beirut backed by its strategic location in the region, plays an important role on the economy and trade scenery in the country.&quot; &ldquo;Today&#39;s ceremony is a glimmer of hope despite all the darkness that Lebanon is going through and especially after the explosion of the Port of Beirut and its dramatic consequences; that&rsquo;s why we must look at these crises as opportunities and the program of YEP MED training is one of those opportunities that allow young Lebanese women and men to develop new skills and enter the workforce. The training you have enrolled, in particular that of the simulation digital platform ERP in collaboration with other partner countries of the project such as Spain, Italy and Tunisia, has been extremely innovative and granted you hands-on the practical logistics and smart port operations&rdquo; he continued. Finally, Rabih Sabra thanked the trainers and experts who delivered and followed up on the implementation of the vocational training courses VT2 VT3, particularly Imad Wakim, Rami Semaan and the technical manager, Dory Abou Saab, who with their expertise accompanied successfully all stages of this innovative training. In the name of the Escola-partners of the YEP MED project, to everyone who receives their diploma today our best wishes for success in the future&rdquo; concluded Eduard Rod&eacute;s. 148 students joined the first YEP MED fully digital international training in Barcelona, Tunis, Civitavecchia and Beirut The first fully digital international training of the YEP MED (Youth Employment in the Ports of the Mediterranean) project was kicked-off on May over two consecutive weeks in four different port communities: Barcelona, Tunis, Civitavecchia and Beirut. Each port community was in charge of practicing the port logistics operations within a simulated freight forwarding operator ERP and execute international trade operations between the participating countries. The upcoming stage will focus on placing the graduates on internships or jobs inside the Lebanese logistics companies through a subgrant scheme to support both the companies and the students.

بيروت في 12 تموز 2021 إجتماع بين البخاري والهيئات الاقتصادية في غرفة بيروت تداول بإقتراحات جدية لمنع تهريب المخدرات: الاتفاق على وضع ورقة مشتركة بين الطرفين للعمل على إقرارها من قبل السلطات المعنية زار سفير المملكة العربية السعودية وليد البخاري مقر غرفة بيروت وجبل لبنان، حيث عقد إجتماعاً مع الهيئات الاقتصادية برئاسة الوزير السابق محمد شقير ومشاركة النائب ميشال ضاهر ورؤساء القطاعات الاقتصادية، وخصص البحث في تنمية العلاقات الاقتصادية الثنائية وإعادة تقييم الاجراءات المتخذة من قبل الجانب اللبناني لجهة منع تهريب المخدرات الى المملكة ووضع ورقة مشتركة تتضمن إجراءات صارمة لمنع هذه العمليات. شقير بداية القى شقير كلمة قال فيها: اليوم في هذا اللقاء، ومع تأكيد المؤكد، وبشكل خاص دور المملكة الريادي وإحتضانها لبنان ووقوفها الى جانبه في السراء والضراء، وكذلك دور سعادتك ومحبتك وإندفاعك تجاه لبنان وسعيك الدؤوب لتطوير العلاقات الأخوية بين الدولتين الشقيقتين. ما أريد أن أقوله، أن القطاع الخاص الذي تلتقيه اليوم، يمثل صورة لبنان الحقيقية بكل أبعادها، ونحن يا سعادة السفير ومنذ عقود من الزمن، هذا القطاع لم يهدأ، لزيادة التواصل والتعاون والإعطاء من خبراته لتوثيق العلاقات خصوصاً مع المملكة. نعم، نحن نؤمن بأن التواصل هو ركيزة العلاقات، أي علاقات، كيف بالحري العلاقات الأخوية، نعم، نحن اشتقنا في بيروت أن نرى اشقاءنا السعوديين في ربوع لبنان، وليس لجانب مصلحي على أهميته، بل لأن أهمية لبنان هو في إحتضانه اشقائه العرب، إنه جانب أساسي من دور لبنان وهويته، نعم، الشق الأنساني يعنينا بالعمق، هذا التواصل والتفاعل الذي يعبر أفضل تعبير عن هويتنا وثقافتنا، وما أكثر هذه العلاقات الانسانية بين الكثير الكثير من اللبنانيين واشقائهم السعوديين، نعم، الشق الاقتصادي، هو بالتأكيد ركيزة أساسية في هذا التواصل، وهو يلعب دوراً محورياً في توطيد العلاقات بمختلف جوانبها بين الدول لا سيما بين الدول الشقيقة&quot;. وتابع شقير قائلاً &quot;من هنا من بيت الاقتصاد اللبناني، وبإسمي وبإسم القطاع الخاص، أقول اننا نتحمل مسؤولية مشتركة، للحفاظ على هذا التواصل، وإذا كان هناك من يعمل لتخريبه عنوة لضرب جوهر العلاقات الأخوية، فمسؤوليتنا المضاعفة هو حماية هذا التواصل وتقويته، على كافة المستويات، خصوصاً على المستوى الاقتصادي، وإعادة شرايين التبادل التجاري لا سيما التصدير الى المملكة الى طبيعتها&quot;. واضاف &quot;نحن منذ البداية، قلنا ان أمن المملكة من أمن لبنان، وسلامة المواطن السعودي من سلامة المواطن اللبناني، وقمنا بجهود كبيرة وقدمنا اقتراحات عملية لا سيما ورقة متكاملة لمنع تهريب المخدرات وضبط المعابر وقد تم الموافقة عليها من قبل السطة اللبنانية، ومما لا شك فيه ان ما قامت به وتقوم به أجهزة الأمن اللبنانية في هذا الإطار وبالتعاون مع أجهزة الأمن السعودية من إحباط لعدد من علمليات تهريب المخدرات يستحق الثناء والتقدير. وختم شقير كلمته بإطلاق نداء قال فيه: في هذه اللحظة المفصلية بتاريخ بلدنا، لبنان يناديكم ينادي أشقاؤه العرب وبشكل خاص المملكة العربية السعودية، للوقوف الى جانبه ومنعه من الانهيار والغرق، إنها مسؤولية تاريخية، وعند المخاطر الكبرى ينتفي العتب المحق خصوصاً بين الأشقاء. البخاري من جهته، شكر السفير البخاري شقير والهيئات الاقتصادية على هذا اللقاء الجامع والمهم في مضمونه، مشيراً ان اللقاء يهدف لمناقشة ما تحقق من إجراءات عمليىة في ما يتعلق بمنع تهريب المخدرات الى المملكة وضبط الجريمة المنظمة، وكذلك التداول بإقتراحات عملية وصولاً الى وضع ورقة مشتركة في هذا الإطار. وإذ لفت السفير البخاري الى ان إجتماع اليوم يندرج في إطار المراجعة التي تقوم بها بالسفارة حول ما قام به لبنان من إجراءات لمنع التهريب بعد ثلاثة أشهر على صدور قرار الحظر وما هو مطلوب في هذا الصدد، أشار الى أن الحل في ما خص العودة عن الحظر موجود في نص القرار الذي ربط العودة عن إجراءات الحظر بقيام الجهات اللبنانية المختصة بإجراءات موثوقة لمنع تهريب المخدرات. وأكد السفير البخاري، أنه على أهمية الإجراءات اللوجستية، هناك ثلاثة محاور مطلوب توافرها لدى الجانب اللبناني في هذا الإطار، وهي: إجراءات قضائية صارمة، إرادة سياسية واضحة، إجراءات أمنية موثوقة. وأكد أنه ليس لدينا ترف الوقت يجب أن نتقدم، والمطلوب الخروج من الاجتماع بورقة عمل مشتركة. نقاش بعد ذلك، دار ناقش مطول تناول مختلف جوانب العلاقات اللبنانية - السعودية، حيث أكد المجتمعون على عمق وقوة العلاقات الأخوية والتاريخية بين البلدين، وضرورة عودة العلاقات الى سابق عهدها، إنطلاقاً من ارتباط لبنان ارتباطاً وثيقاً ببيئته ومجتمعه العربي. كما تم التداول بمجموعة من الاقتراحات لضبط عمليات التهريب والحفاظ على سلامة التصدير من لبنان، حيث تم الاتفاق على ضع في ورقة مشتركة بين الطرفين للعمل على إقرارها من قبل السلطات المعنية.

إجتماع بين البخاري والهيئات الاقتصادية في غرفة بيروت

بيروت في 28 حزيران 2021 استقبل رئيس الهيئات الاقتصادية الوزير السابق محمد شقير اليوم في مقر غرفة بيروت وجبل لبنان وفداً ومن الاتحاد اللبناني للمعلوماتية والاتصالات ضم رئيسه كميل مكرزل ونائب الرئيس غبريال الديك وأمين السر ربيع بعلبكي، وجرى البحث في التطورات السلبية الحاصلة على المستوى الاقتصادي ودور قطاع المعلوماتية والاتصالات في هذه المرحلة خصوصاً لجهة تشجيع المبادرات الفردية لاطلاق أفكار ومشاريع رائدة تمكن العائلات من الصمود في مواجهة الأزمة الاقتصادية والمعيشية. بداية رحب شقير بالوفد، وقدم له التهنئة على حصول الاتحاد على العلم والخبر، &quot;الذي من شأنه تقوية هذا القطاع الرائد وتنظيمه وتمينه من أخذ دوره الريادي الذي يستحق في الحياة الاقتصادية في لبنان&quot;. وإذ أكد شقير احتضان الهيئات الاقتصادية لهذا القطاع الحيوي، قال &quot;إننا نعول كثيراً على أن يشكل هذا القطاع الحديث قطارة النهوض الاقتصادي، خصوصاً ان لبنان يختزن أعداد كبيرة من الأدمغة المبدعة التي ستجد لها مساحات واسعة في فضاء هذا القطاع العالمي&quot;. من جهته، شكر مكرزل شقير على تبنيه ودعمه من اللحظة الأولى لفكرة أنشاء الاتحاد اللبناني للمعلوماتية والاتصالات، مؤكداً أهمية التعاون الكامل مع الهيئات الاقتصادية والوقوف صفاً واحداً معها في كل القضايا والجهود التي تبذلها خدمة للقطاع الخاص والاقتصاد الوطني. وعرض مكرزل العمل الذي يقوم به الاتحاد والنشاطات التي يحضر لها، مشيراً الى وجود 15 نقابة مهنية في قطاع المعلوماتية والاتصالات منضوية تحت لواء الاتحاد. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;
